Aleks Vickovich is Editor-in-Chief at Conexus Financial. An award-winning journalist and author, he was previously Wealth Editor at the Australian Financial Review and has more than 15 years’ experience as a newspaper reporter, broadcaster and foreign correspondent. Aleks is also Conexus Financial’s representative on the advisory board of not-for-profit think-tank,The Conexus Institute, a non-executive director of the Pro Bono Financial Advice Network and recognised authority on the business and regulation of financial services in Australia. He has advised institutional investors and technology start-ups on corporate communications and was a Congressional Intern in the US House of Representatives in Washington, DC. He holds a Master of Media Practice and Bachelor of Economic and Social Sciences from the University of Sydney, where he was awarded the Australian Press Council Prize for Media Law & Ethics. Aleks was named Columnist of the Year 2017 by Mumbrella and won Business Editor of the Year at the 2014 Publishers Australia Excellence Awards. He is a member of the National Press Club of Australia and Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing. His first book, USA G'DAY: An Aussie Take on the American Dream in a Blockbuster Election Cycle, was published in 2017.
