Geoff Lloyd is a recognised business leader across financial services, technology, M&A and law in Australia. Appointed chair and a director of Conexus Financial in February 2026, Lloyd leads the board and provides strategic advice to founder and managing director Colin Tate AM and the senior leadership team.

He was previously chief executive of both Perpetual Group and MLC. At MLC, he was responsible for more than 1,200 financial advisers, Australia's largest retail super fund and a global asset management business with $199 billion in assets under management, before NAB completed the sale of the business to IOOF in 2020. In 2026, he returned to Perpetual as executive chair of its wealth management arm following the business's acquisition by Bain Capital. He also chairs DASH Technology Group and B2C investment platform Stake.

Before Perpetual, Lloyd held senior roles at BT Financial Group and St George's wealth management business, including chief legal counsel and general manager of advice and private banking. He chaired the Financial Services Council from 2016 to 2020 and is a signatory to the Banking & Finance Oath. He holds a Master of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney and was an inaugural board member of the UTS Foundation.
